Welcome to Madlab6, where I have begun to compile a set of short tutorial modules to share my knowledge with the rest of the world.

In my spare time I like to do projects, and if they are interesting, I like to write them up on my blog, Madlab5.  I found that many of the computer and networking projects started with the same basic steps, and I was torn between including too many small details, making it boring for the more advance reader, or glossing over the stuff that seemed easy to me, and making it difficult for the more novice tinkerer to follow.

The solution: small modular tutorials.  Now, if I do a project with a Raspberry Pi, I don't have to go over the whole process of doing the basic set-up for the Pi, I can just refer those who need detailed instructions to a set of tutorials on this site.  If I tell a reader to edit a text file from the Linux command line, I can include a link to my tutorial on Vim for those that are not familiar with editing files from the terminal.  You get the picture.

So this is that site.  Below I have listed all the modules completed to date, followed by a few sets that I feel would be good to read as a series if you are interested in learning more on a given topic.  If you have any suggestions for topics you would like to see me cover, please let me know.

I hope you enjoy this page, and can use your new found knowledge to create all sorts of interesting projects.  And most importantly, Have Fun!
